Skotte om Gud å di

I helgå va eg på Russetreff i Kragerø, og på Lørdagskvelden va me innom på ein bar å kjøpte glasscola. Der traff eg på ein folle skotte. Eg elske den dialektå og eg lige å snakka me folle folk, fordi di seie akkuratt ka di meine. Så han satt rundt bardisken å snakka då me kom inn for å kjøba colaen. Han fekk hørra at me va kristenruss som va i byen og begynte å snakka me meg. Her e høydepunktene fra samtalen:

- Did ye know that God is too busy in Scottland to care about here.
- Jesus was nailed to the cross because nobody liked him
- Jesus and lucifer were pals
- Lucifer pushed the stone away from Christs grave before he was bored and went down to hell
- Jesus killed 3 people when he pushed the stone away from the grave when the stone hit a house
- God is a criminal (huske ikke kaffor då)

Friends from the US: Tommy

It's almost a year now since i left Colorado and while something I really don't miss, other things just makes me go mad. Friends is one of those "go mad for"- things. Here I'll give you one of them: The great Tommy Lupke!


This guy is probably the best friend i had during my time in Colorado. And if you got to meet him you would find out pretty soon why he was. Always smiling and always laughing, and he has the most adorable/catchy laugh ever. Currently a Junior (11th year of School). He always thought of others before himself and is truly a man of Gods heart, which amazed me time after time how much he truly loved God and wished to serve him.

When you're away for a year you just can't have a perfect stay, you really can't. Ups and downs you know. During one of those "downs" this guy who is pretty unfamiliar to me at the time, invites me to this youth service thing called "Veritas" (which means "truth" in latin) where I meet alot of awesome people that I would never have found without him. This is during late spring and the rest of my stay turns out to be so good I wished that summer lasted a few months longer so I could spend more time with them.

I'm not lying when I say that I miss him. (If u read this Tommy: When will that call come??)


Oh, I almost forgot he's also the goofiest kid I know. And when he's not smiling he's thinking up a stupid prank where he tries to fool you which lasts for about 30seconds before he laughs once again :P
